Series Name Change
If you've visited here before, you've probably noticed the series name change and that the original books of the series are no longer on Amazon. Well, the past week was my lesson on "trademarks" and for anyone out there wanting to start writing a series, I strongly recommend you first visit https://tmsearch.uspto.gov/search/search-information. It's a pretty murky field, subject to interpretation and how much time and money you want to throw at it, so I won't debate merits of the complaint.
I do however have a complaint against how Amazon handles these situations. They provide no information on what exactly the complaint against you is, tell you that they reserve the right not to disclose 'sensitive data' and point you to their KDP content guidelines. While at the same time telling you to fix 'it' without telling you what 'it' is. Thanks a bunch Amazon.
Some research on USPTO and contacting the law firm I usually do business with and the best solution was to simply change the series name. And here we are.
